Sometimes I had to eat it as a kid, if you know what I mean, but I never really liked it. On the other hand - the Spam, eggs, and rice reminds me of pudding (liver mush), eggs, and grits, (that's sometimes eaten in the South) which I like....

I totally agree that Spam is an acquired taste, but we have this thing here called the Spam
musubi...and it's a staple. Envision a slice of Spam atop a rectangular brick of sticky rice, with a slap of roasted seaweed paper wrapped around it. I know AlphaSigOU knows about it, and I'm thinking carnation, and maybe AznSAE and Bobby knows about it too. It may have been small, but it was a full meal that'd get me full no prob!
Then again I tried grits and I never thought I'd like it on my first trip to the South, but surprisingly enough this Hawaiian luuuuuuurved the GRITS!!!
