I took it once and got scores that were well above passing for my program, so I was happy. Especially because I totally
suck at math...I've never been good at it because to me it's like reading Japanese--none of it makes sense, I just can't grasp the logic behind the operations, and if I miraculously do manage to do it, I either can't retain it or I can't use it in a way that's not identical to the one I learned. So hey, if
I can pass the math part, so can you!
A little advice--study!
Get one of those GRE prep books. I didn't have enough time to take a course or anything because I literally had, like, a week to prepare (my school didn't let me know it was required until it was almost too late!) so the book helped tremendously by letting me know what kind of questions I would be asked, etc.
