Good question!! In the Jewish faith, this interpretation is taken seriously. No body art -- also there is not supposed to be an autopsy at death. For sanitation, they have to embalm the body in this country .... but you're not even supposed to go that far.
Per my old threads, I'm opposed to ADPi tattooes. To each his own-- just not my style. Miami, I'd advise your sisters against it, but it is their decision to make.
