Wedding Traditions

Do we have any wedding traditions? My local chapter has about 6 girls getting married this next year, and I am one of them. I am wanting do to something that will make Sigma Alpha a part of my wedding reception. Any ideas?

You can always give them a flower to wear
Maybe a green and yellow ribbon
Gamma has a poem we give to the bride
Some chapters have one sister bring yellow mums for the gift table

I'm sure some wedding planners have other ideas as well

Wedding Blessing

Families hold a special place in our hearts.
We began as strangers who had different starts;
We joined a circle, and soon became a friend.
Fortunately our roads met at the same bend.
Friendships ran deeper, and love did grow;
The next step was sisterhood, the seeds we did sow.
