McDonalds... unless Red Robin can be counted as fast food, in which case their steak fries with the seasoning salt are my favorite...

Can Chili's count as fast food? (After all, their motto is "Get in, get out, get on with life!")
Their fries (coupled with their ranch dressing) are magically delicious!

Ok, so I lived 8 years in Japan... and I was obcessed with MccyDs fries there... different then the USA, the japanese fries are greasier, fattier, unhealthier and just plan more delicious... Same with KFC, but in a good way... Japanese KFC is the best chicken EVER... dont really know why... in america however, Wendys fries at 12am with a nice frosty right before a midterm hits the spot!!! Got to say though, Steak and Shakes fries are rather good too

If we're counting local places, DEFINITELY Super Dawgs in Chicago, and Original's in Pittsburgh!

I get a craving for McD's french fries after I leave the dentist office......every time, without fail, since I was a child. My brother has the cravings too.(the dentist used to give us free fry coupons when we didn't have any cavities----I know it doesn't make sense, but oh well)

I love Rally's fries, but I don't ever go there to eat. Arby's curly fries are good too.

I had the best fries I've had in YEARS at The Bank in Denver, with a side of ranch. OMG.

I'm more of a fan of onion rings, and I don't eat at the big chain fast food places all that much, but I'd have to go with In n Out or Burger King.
On a local level, Kelly's Roast Beef and Eagle's Deli both have great fries. As I said though, I'm more into onion rings, and the rings at both places are very good as well.

 | Haha I love it, the ex and I once did a late night run to In N Out and while we both love their burgers, sometimes their fries (if left out too long or if you get the bits and pieces end of the barrel) can be nasty and knowing it was late night and the drive through was empty we figured the fries would not be up to par. There was a McD's across the street so on the way out of In N Out drive through we hit up McD's and it was the best burger/fries combo ever.

When BK redid their fries about 8-9 years back I really liked them. Personally I like a lot of salt on my fries but lately they havent been doing it for me so I'm going to have to go with McD's and Appleebees but I think thats because I get their take out about once a week and I've acquired a taste of their fries. lol

In-N-Out Burger. You can see them slice the fresh potatoes and fry them immediately. The result is light, crispy, golden-brown goodness. Thank God they are only on the west coast, or I'd be the size of a house!

Arby's curly fries are the best!!
But if you just want some regular (non-curly) fries then MCDONALD'S is the best!!!!

I often wondered if I only thought In N Out was good because I couldn't have it all the time. I thought if I lived out west, I wouldn't like it quite so much.
The posters on this board seem to have proven me wrong.

In N Out...hands down. And I live in so Cal, so no KSigKid, I don't eat them all the time, but when I want a burger and fries, that is the only place I will go...unless there is a Fatburger nearby, but Fatburger is pricey in the realm of fast food. But that is mainly for the burgers and a whole 'nother discussion... |
