I had an opportunity to go to any public school in Florida because I had been awarded a "scholarship loan" for teachers. Mom wanted me at UWF, but I was like, Ummm...NO! I strongly considered U of FL, but didn't know for sure. Two days before my birthday got a nice letter from Troy saying I had full tuition scholarship...
I accepted the scholarship there, without ever seeing the campus. Never regretted it, either!
