I wore my high school ring up until about 2 months before I separated from the navy when I got a "navy" ring. It looks like a high school ring, except around the top it says "United States Navy" It has the december birthstone and it's got my rate symbol for IT(my job) etched in the stone. One side of it has AOE-7 (which was my ships hull number) and "Operation Iraqi Freedom" and the other side says "Operation Enduring Freedom". One day I'll get a college ring too, but I want to make sure I'm actually going to graduate the year that i get put on it first.

My high school ring had a bulldog (our mascot was a Hoya - like Georgetown) on one side and the otherside had marching band. Stone had a saxophone in it.

I didn't get a ring because at the time you had to have the school mascot on the side and an activity on the other. I could have cared less about my high school's mascot. I wanted the two activities I was most involved in on either side. The ring rep said that wasn't doable. I bought myself a ring with just my birthstone and plain band.

Of course after I graduate, the ring trend changed to where you could have that option. It figures.

I think my ring is in my jewelry box somewhere, but I haven't worn it since I graduated high school.

Mine's yellow gold with an onyx stone on top with a gold cross etched into it. Onone side is soccer, with my number, on the other is volleyball and basketball.

I wore it till about halfway through my freshman year. I just decided I was over it one day, and left it in the jewelry box where I keep sentimental jewelry (like things that were my grandfather's, and some pendants I've received). Everynow and then I'll pull it out, just to look. But that's it.

I quit wearing mine my sophomore year in college. However, I've recently started to wear mine again for old time's sake due to I'm back at my high school doing some hours for my education classes.

I LOVED my ring I was one of the few in my class that DIDN'T get my birthstone, I got my school colors

This is what it basically looked like except it had "GAHS" on the top, which had a blue stone. It has "Devils" w/Tennis on one side w/"Kayla" and band on the other side.

I loved my ring
