I'm sort of tall (5'8-ish) and I tend to prefer guys that are taller than me. BUT, I would never not date a guy I really liked because he was my height or a teeny bit shorter.
If the girl likes you and you like her then get over the height issue. It's hard enough to find someone you like that much...and if it becomes an issue maybe YOU can start wearing heels...haha.
