I know it said round-about figures in the article, but I'm not sure about AXiD...
Anyway, my reasoning would maybe be that for me it was $1200 my first year, and that's a lot of money to sink into something that you weren't truly planning on doing in the first place. My guess is AXiD up there is probably around $600-700 your first year... still a lot of money. Someone else can say if that's close.
