Hello again ladies...

Yes, you can join a "social" sorority if you are already a member of a service sorority. My sorority, Gamma Sigma Sigma, for example, has many members that are also members of other sororities such as AKA, Delta, and so on. Also, my sorority WAS NOT founded as a BGLO. It is true, however, that some chapters have a sign and call.

As for the call we use...soror6, there is a unique story behind it and how it came to be. It's not a "knock-off" at all although that is what it looks like first off. No disrespect to either the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha or Delta Sigma Theta. If you have any other questions about Gamma Sig, please feel free to email me and I'll answer them as best as I can.

Once again to my sister GSSGirl, you are being quite disrespectful on the board. You and I should know, we don't like it when other organizations have something negative to say about us, let's not return that negativity because it gets us nowhere. Each organization is DESERVING of respect. And remember, the cyberworld is not as "anonymous" as you think.

To all the sisters on the board, I apologize for GSSGirl. This isn't what my sorority is about...trust me!

With Service, Friendship & Equality,
U.I.S.
