Not to pick on you, but this is a good reason why President should know at least a little bit of every position. You never know what may come up, and if things break down or someone leaves you have to know how to cover for that person.
While I was President of my chapter we lost both our treasurer and our ritualist, and for short time periods everyone else had to cover.
