Reading this thread is a good example of the first reason - Democrats are so stupid (ie thinking Clinton was impeached for having sex).
The second reason is that while the "Buck stops here" mentality is good and great, it's not reality. Clinton cut the FEMA budget repeatedly. Is he being questioned on that? No. It's actually quite funny how Bill Clinton is repeatedly being seen at the side of George Bush.
The third reason is the other alternatives. Where are they? Who are they? Who were they? It's funny how the DNC and all political consultants came to the conclusion that they have no leaders who have the ability to inspire and connect with a people, but the mobs and masses of Democrats still can't think through that.
We voted for Bush because he was the best option. It's that simple. Ask Carville. The proof is out there - he is our president.

Well said - Clinton even admitted as much during one of the post-hurricane press conferences, but none of the questioners pursued the FEMA issue further.
I voted for Bush because he was the best option, and the only candidate I could support in any way. It's as simple as that.
