They walked out with the groom at my wedding 4 months ago. And they walked out with the groom at all the weddings I have been to in the last 5-7 years. BUT, they were all Yankee weddings, so maybe the rules are different down there !?
At one of my friend's weddings the girl walked half-way down and then the guy walked up to meet her to escort the rest of the way. It was nice I guess.
