If OSU loses to Texas, there is absolutely no chance that Iowa plays in a BCS game this year unless they are the undisputed Big 10 champion. If, however, OSU beats Texas, then even a loss to OSU (and thus 2nd in the big 10) should be enough to maintain top-6 status and an at-large berth in the BCS.
There is no feasible scenario that results in a big10 team playing for the national championship unless OSU beats TU and Michigan beats ND.
If you're a Hawk fan, you MUSTMUSTMUST root for UM and OSU in all of their non-conference games. It's not just 'conference pride' - it's football common sense. Suck it up.
