A GC Challenge

For the most part, I think it's really stupid when people say "If you do X [insert inane request here] I will donate $Y to such and such charity." I mean, if you want to donate $ to a charity, just do it.

However, I'm going to pose a challenge to GCers. I've already donated money to the HSUS disaster effort and PetSmart charities, but I'm willing to make a donation to the American Humane Association and/or Best Friends out of Utah.

Here is my challenge:

I will donate an additional $25 if, for the next two weeks, starting now, there is not one joke posted on GC about either of the following: (1) anyone being intimidated by anyone's hotness; or (2) SKEPi.

You rock!

Our business has been helping some victims take care of their animals they brought with them. Also, we have been collecting money for the animals left behind.

A woman runs the Doggy Dude Ranch in MS. She has no electricity or running water. Yet, she has been taking in countless numbers of animals left behind. Life is life IMHO. And, I am all about helping to preserve the life of the innocents human or animal. We've sent some money to her to help make ends meet. It's a desperate situation.

I've already donated $50 to the Humane Society, and my office has donated $100 for each person there.

I'm very happy about that!

Please count me in. And add SHIM to that list.

Ever hear the expression "the joke got old"? It's fitting in those circumstances.

Anyway, I've donated a bunch of money to the Red Cross through my company's fundraising efforts.
