I had a fit when I missed his last tour, so I was EXTREMELY happy to have tickets to the Cincinnati concert. To my dismay, my good friend (who had driven 400+ miles from Virginia), stopped us in the middle of dinner with the bad news: the concert was postponed. So sad, so sad.

They have added another show, from what the radio said this morning, for all of you all who didn't get tix for Show 1, like me.

Its actually Res (pronounced Reese). Her music is pretty cool, but you have to get used to it. Wouldn't it be wonderful if Lena, or ESPECIALLY the fabulous Jill Scott were opening for him? What a show that would be.

Don't get there too late!!! You know folks like to upgrade their seats by taking yours...Res has a new CD out, but I don't think any have been released. $9.99 at Bestbuy (at least it was).

GIRL, they have not said that this Dec 1 show was postponed. I'mma be a mad so and so if it is so.

Another show was added because of the DEMAND for tickets. Those tickets for Dec. 2 went on sale Friday at 10 and in 2 hours less than 1,000 seats were left. It's probably sold out by now.



You know, this morning on Walt Love's countdown, I heard Maxwell say that the music that he wrote for the NOW CD came via reading Shakespeare.

Maxbaby went on to say that he wants his music to continue to be played well after he is gone. I don't know about you, but that sounds kind of morbid. You know after the Aaliyah stuff, and hearing that he is "sick" and shows are postponed etc, I hope that Max is OKAY. You all know what I'm saying? I REALLY mean OKAY! FINE!

I'd hate to see us loose someone else. I hope I'm OVERREACTING!
