And now, here's mine:
He was in my grade four class. I don't really remember him from then, but...we ended up in swimming class together at 15. I gave him his first hug (which I found out later, of course!) after I scraped his back on the pool deck when I tried to remove him from the water!! Not terribly romantic, but made an impression
He lived down the street from great friends of the family, so I knew a ton about him indirectly. Forward to university.
I arrive on campus, knowing no one, and my sister pipes up that I should call my now bf b/c he's listed in the campus directory. Why I should call? She has a huge crush on his younger brother! Ran into him throughout the four years, but only got interested the last year of school, when he hired me to work in the kitchen at a popular student bar in town. He was the kitchen manager, I was the pizza girl...and after two months of my mother asking "What about him?" , he confessed his attraction one night after I ended up at his place... "stranded" by my roommates
We've been dating for almost two years and life is sweet.
