Well...in a nutshell, I had a bad experience with another sorority after I took their bid (if y'all have read some of my more recent posts, you might be able to figure out some of what happened). And I feel like the girls that were rushing with me last year might feel like my feelings are insincere. I'm already a very introverted-shy person, and so just knowing that there are girls who are gonna be on that "other side" and having questions, is getting me pretty nervous.
On the Flip Side--I have a conflict. I just got in the mail a letter saying that my induction to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars is gonna be On the 8th of September (which is 2 days before bid day). I don't really want to go---I do really regret paying my membership for that NSCS, but my dad says it is a good opportunity and a good resume booster. I dont really want to miss the rush events that day though, especially since it is so close to the end, that is when it really gets important. UGH!!!!
I guess I'm going to have to talk this over with myself (lol)....maybe I can get my money back from my membership or something, or just not go at all! Any advice would be helpful! Thanks all
