Well, Caroline and Victor are back in Salem. It is SO GOOD seeing older characters again. They are great actors.

Patrick told everyone that he was only pretending to work for Tony.

Now the fireworks begin when Victor and Nicole meet again...I am glad that Caroline is back. I really love her! Maybe we can see more concern for families on DOOL...oh wait! DOOL doesn't do that!

You know, there are a lot of characters I just really don't care about on Days, and Patrick is one of those people. I sometimes forget that he is Mimi's brother and Bonnie's son.

BUT LAWDAMERCY Mimi and Shawn started hooking up!!!!! IT WAS GREAT! And I am not usually turned on my daytime smut, but I think what happened between them was quite natural and not contrived at all. Mimi is a decent little actress but I always thought Shawn SUCKED. Until now....there was something about their chemistry that he just didn't have with any actress that played Belle.

I like them. I am rooting for ShMimi.

I am happy that Shawn and Mimi aren't totally drowning themselves in sorrow over Belle and Rex. I think it is so funny that Phillip is pushing Mimi to pursue Shawn, and Belle is struggling to find reasons to say "HECK NO!"

Did you see the flashback from Salem High when Mimi was on her knees asking Shawn to take her to the dance as friends? I thought it was so cute, and I had almost forgotten about the HUGE crush she had on Shawn in high school

I'm in total agreement with everything you've said! I can see this getting really bad for Belle, which I really like! If it were Kirsten Storms, then I might have a little more compassion. I just can't stand this chick! They are totally poising her to be the next 'Salem Saint', like her mother. Both of them irk me to death!

Also, the last few scenes with Jack and Frankie have been really annoying. They are OVERLY dramatic! I love seeing the flashbacks with Frankie and Jenn though. That's about the time I started watching so it's kind of cool!

No, I missed it, I flip to Strong Medecine at the commercial breaks and today's was really good I missed a lot of DOOL. I never knew Mimi like Shawn, I honestly don't remember.

Finally, Patrick thinks Chelsea is Georgia, WE'RE GETTING SOMEWHERE!!! Now, comes the hard part, proving it. Chelsea believes she's a Benton, she'll never submit to a DNA test. Even if she did, she'll never accept Billie as a mother, not until Max and Patrick are out of the picture. Then she has to get over the resentment she's harboring, her anger at her parents for not telling her she's adopted...then when they finally start to get along, Patrick will come back into town, or Billie will "die" or something else to break up the feel-good moment we've been waiting 15 years to see (32.8 years in soap time).

I just got done reading Soap Opera Digest tonight. Billie goes to Tony after realizing what Patrick has said. Tony admits that Chelsea is her daughter. Of course, Billie calls Bo immediately (and away from Hope. GRRR!) They have the blood test to confirm it.

At least this storyline is going somewhere!

BURBANK, Calif. -- August 15, 2005 -- For the first time in the 40-year history of NBC's "Days of our Lives" (Mondays-Fridays), fans will have the chance to be part of daytime history starting today by logging on to www.NBC.com/Days to vote for their favorite name for Belle Black-Kiriakis' baby. Fans will have until September 18 to cast multiple votes before the name is announced on air.

The names that Belle (Martha Madison) and her husband Philip (Kyle Brandt) have selected follow.

If it's a boy: Conner, Tyler or Luke.

and what the heck are they doing. First they make belle pregnant after 6 months using their bs "dramatic license" and now it sounds like they are bumping the pregnancy up to november.

Belle doesn't remember having sex with Shawn, so they won't even consider that it's his....which pretty much guaruntees that it will be (but they won't find that out till the baby's older and they realize both Belle and Philip are blond, but the baby's got black hair or something twisted like that). And this isn't the first time we got to be a part of Days' history, we got to pick if Hope's baby would be John's or Stefano's (even if it turned out to be Beau's anyway).

Well at least we know they can't rapidly age the kid that fast because the actors are only in their early 20's.

They tried that with Will but then realize (duh) that Brian and Allison are still young.

I have a feeling that this kid will age as a normal child should until they are ready to age up (again) Belle, Phillip and Shawn and I can't see them doing that too soon because the actors playing their parents are still rather young.
