I don't know what part of the country you live in, but I bought several long silk skirts from Harolds over the years. For work, I'll pair them with a sweater set or nice silk pullover top. And the skirts are versatile, so if you want to dress it down or funk it up, they look cute with denim tops/jean jackets. Its hard just starting out and I always try to get pieces that I can dress up for work, but also dress down for more casual occasions.
