I liked Sierra. As stuck up as she was her parents had control over her. When her grades were bad she went and got a tutor, she did chores, she showed her mother and father her progress. When they told her the party was off she didn't argue or whine. She wanted her party to be back on, so she actually TRIED to make it up to her parents. Granted, she is spoiled, but she did WAY BETTER than all of those girls, when it came to listening to and pleasing her parents. I think she's gonna be alright.

I was shocked too. I think I read that she's on the varsity squad?

And from reading some of the comments---yeah i'm nosey---she was also in dance classes.

i am sorry, but for some reason the girl who was adopted into the rich family is bugging me more than most of the kids on my super sweet 16. She was adopted from foster care, she has seen the worst of the worst, she should really be far more humble and gracious than she is acting.

This is really sad. I *finally* read the posts on this thread, and I recognize all of the ppl y'all are talking about. This means that I have a TV addiction, including the MTV's my super sweet 16.

I'm watching this episode now. At first I was like "yay, a normal girl who found wealth by luck."

But then she started acting like she was a complete goddess. "I deserve this" WHAT??? Honey there are lots of girls in the US that lived and still live in your past conditions.

GRRRR!!

Watching this show reminds me how much growing up I did from the age 16 to now. B/c man oh man are these girls immature!

That adopted girl made me want to smack her! And what was up with the dancing? Sweetie, you deserve a home that makes you feel safe and loved, not a BMW that you don't have room to put your shopping bags in. Not a party where you get mad at your "best friend" and drop her from the VIP list for bringing some guys you don't like.

I never thought I'd feel this old but 16 year olds are snots!

Sophie's mom spent 10k to have a stylist pick out a dress A stranger off of the street could have done a better job picking out something that would have actually fit.

If I had ordered my mom around in public like that at 16, I would not be here today.

The VIP list? Is that normal to have a "VIP" list for a sweet sixteen?!

I don't watch the show, but maybe it is possible that she wasn't always that way.. maybe she didn't get that way until she was brought into that environment. I don't think it's an excuse for her behavior, but still...
