Yeah i've been getting a lot of mixed opinions by the greeks up here, that's why I posted this thread. I've talked to freinds in the largest sorority (tri delts) and fraternity (sammies), the general consensus is that it's somewhat disrespectful, so I'll tell the boys not to do it.
My roommate gave a good analogy: "that's like going to a bar and trying to promote your own bar that is in the market"
Thanks for your advice Les and AOX, both are good points but when it comes down to it the most important thing is to avoid conflicts.
