One of our sisters, Mariska Hargitay, won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series for "Law & Order: SVU."

Yay for Mariska! She is so beautiful.

It was interesting to learn that she is Jayne Mansfield's daughter and was in the car wreck where Jayne died.

I just tried to look her up in the database at the Kappa website, to see what chapter was, and she's not in there. But then neither is Kate Jackson. Jane Pauley and Kate Spade are listed, however.

No, but her membership was mentioned in The Key years ago. As far as Kate Jackson is concerned, I saw her picture on the composite when I was at Ole Miss! I believe she was a legacy through her mom (she has a sister, but I don't know if she is a member of any GLO).

Also, Loni Anderson's daughter and James Sikking's (from "Hill Street Blues") daughter are also Kappas.

Mariska Hargitay attended UCLA, so I imagine it would have been the UCLA Kappa chapter...can anyone confirm?

I was reading People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People issue (I'm kind of addicted to People) and Mariska Hargitay was listed. In her photograph, she was wearing a necklace with fleur de lis on it! Haha, I'm sure anyone else would have completely overlooked it... but not us Kappas!

We were always told at my chapter that Candace Bergan was a Kappa, but it turns out that it's not true!

If anyone is a fan of Entertainment Tonight, you should know that Jann Carl was a Theta Chapter Kappa! She was at Mizzou at the same time as Brad Pitt (Sigma Chi) and Sheryl Crow (Kappa Alpha Theta). An interesting time to be a Tiger!

Candace Bergan was a Kappa, but it appears that she relinquished her membership a couple of years ago.

I had meant to post this a few months back, but while visiting HQ this past June, EEKappa and I learned that Mariska Hargitay is NOT a member of KKG.

She was once a member, but she was dismissed. Sorry to rain on the Mariska parade!
