Well, I've had one heck of a week! I don't think I've mentioned it, but I'll be having a little legacy in November! YIPPEE!!
On to the thorns...which there just seem to be so damn many this week. I put my two weeks in on Monday. I've just had so much going on between me and the baby. It just seemed easier to take a breather. Tuesday, my husband called to tell me that he'd had an 'accident' during his Water Survival Training class. He was pulling himself out of the pool...in full battle-rattle...and ruptured the tendons in his left bicep. It is completely detached from his left pectoral muscle. He'll have surgery on Monday...good thing I quit my job, huh?
There is good news though, he will most likely NOT get deployed again. We're looking at at least 4 months of recovery. Bad news, we don't know how his future looks for other employment. He's a K9 handler, and he won't be able to handle dogs anymore. Ahhh...I'm rambling. Thanks for listening guys!
