If the pearls are done at pref ceremony, then more than just pi phi's will hear it! I personally would not consider that ceremony to be secret although you all may disagree!
I loved Pi Phi heaven and all the white because on my campus everybody else did black so it was very different and I always thought unique and beautiful.
