Perhaps it makes more sense to say that college is about learning and growing as a person. You could also argue that college is a time to get involved and learn leadership skills and through these things we grow and change.

College is not about 'activism' per se, but it is a time to be active, to grow, and to prepare for life in a somewhat safe environment. Just a thought.
