Live-in.... I guess it's just that some people in live-in relationships aren't as free-spirited anymore. Less spontaneity, less staying up all night drinking Venezuelan rum, no "call Cash up at the last minute to go out." You will find yourself asking permission before making plans. And these things aren't bad if that's what you're ready for. It's basically marriage without the paper to prove it. It works for some, not for others. It worked for me.... You'll have to make sacrifices, and judging from the few posts of yours that I've read, a lot of the things you enjoy doing will be among these sacrifices. Everyone gives up a certain amount of freedom in this situation, and if you are happy with that, you will be just fine.
BUT, judging from your comments that things have been quite nice recently, perhaps it is that time for you. Perhaps it IS time to settle down. At least you are trying it out before walking down the aisle. There are a great many people who have reasons for not liking the live-in situation. I think it is good to know a person's nasty habits and gross details before marriage. If you just live in and break up, one of you moves. If you are married and then find out you just can't live together, it is considerably tougher to end things.
