Although the key to doing well on the test is practice, practice, practice (under normal testing conditions), I'd still suggest taking a course. I took a course through Blackstone which, I believe is a florida-based company only, and I think it really helped. I felt really comfortable with the test by the time I took it. The games were my most difficult part as well. But that is ok. Just realize that your score is cumulative, so if you know that games is your worst section, then strive to improve your strongest section (reading comprehension or whathaveyou).
I am not certain about a minimum score. Each school has different standards. Usually the statistics (gpa, lsat, etc) of the last entering class is posted on each school's webpage. It is good for giving you a nice range to see if your scores fit in. This is a little dated, but it is ok to give you an idea of where you stand with a particular gpa and lsat score:
