I graduated from U of F in December, and am now working in Miami (my hometown). kdonline and I **still** keep in touch, and meet up for lunch and all that... it's great. My 2 1/2 years in Kappa were wonderful (since I pledged as a sophomore, and graduated a semester early). I got my own little family... a little, a twin (my big got a 2nd little), a grand-little and then my twins little (whatever that is called!). hehe. I had an absolutely amazing time with all my sisters, and I am so glad that I decided to go through rush... even when I wasn't too sure about it. I visited Gainesville back in April, after I had graduated. When I walked into the house, it was the sweetest thing... everyone said hi to me as if I'd never left... and then moments later they'd say "OHMYGOD! It's YOU!" Like it just hit them that I was visiting... lol. They were all so wonderful, and I happened to be there for senior dinner night... so I was able to share that night with all of my pledge sisters that were leaving. We also got to *finally* take a family photo. (we're in some sort of order... grandlittle, little, me, big, twin, twins little)

In the past two Fall rushes since yours, I had really hoped that people took a look at your story.

LOL, and I know that not everyone can be an awesome writer like you -- and not everyone can have such a stellar journalism teacher like you did!

Rush stories have changed a lot in the past few years, and while we try to make it so that the PNM's rush experience is one that's fair and unbiased, one can't help but wish that all rush stories could be like yours. Some of these stories, I don't know...seem pretty useless.

Yours was actually worth reading and I don't think we've had anything like it since!
