College Prep vs SAT confussion

I was going to post this on the other thread, but since it's more on-topic here...

Many many MANY Miami high school graduates have to take college prep courses at Miami-Dade College (now no longer a "community college" because it offers 4 year degrees!) because they did not score high enough on the entrance exams.

As the previous posters said, taking these classes are beneficial not only for gaining the skills, but also, to give YOU the confidence that you will succeed at the university level.
