I just finished For the Love of Money the sequel to Omar Tyree's Flyy Girl it was good, not as good as the first but good. I also love Arabesque novels as a filler when I can't find lengthier books to read. I have read most of the books on this list. Including most books by non-African Americans. The V.C. Andrews collections are great reads.
Flowers in the Attic
The Wildflowers Series, If there be Thorns, etc.
I am now reading "The Partner" by John Grisham, so far it is very good.
