hehe, I know what you mean about people being thrown off by the riding thing! Whenever I tell people, they are like "Oh! I've gone on trails before!!" I'm like, umm, not quite the same!! People really don't understand the concept of competitive riding!! Oh well. Thanks for all the good luck wishes everyone!! I can't wait to start posting exciting things about recruitment...just a little over a month!

Your names for sororities are much better than mine would have been, though, had I named them for World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horses. There are 5 sororities on my campus, so I would have had things like Cash For Keeps ('00 WGC), Pride's Jubilee Encore ('01 WGC), Out On Parole ('02 WGC), The Whole Nine Yards ('03 WGC), and The Black Night Shade ('04 WGC). The sad thing is, those are some of the better TWH names!

Anyway, enough about horses. Best of luck with recruitment! Be prepared to get some odd looks when you mention that you ride horses, though. Or to hear things like, "Oh, my grandfather's cousin's ex husband let me ride one of his horses when I was 3!" LOL! It's something that kind of throws people off. I'll definitely be following this thread because I want to see how a fellow horse person fares. Good luck!
