Eons. Unfortunately, people were much tinier back then. I do get lots of jewelry from there because they're the only place where I can get bracelets small enough to fit my wrists, and screw-back earrings.
And all hail the Red White & Blue Thrift Store - its only flaw is the lack of dressing rooms so you have to wear boxers & a tank top & try things on over them.
