I feel the same way.

However, I tried to look at the page and determine if it truly mirrored Rowlings writing style. Part of me wants to say no. However, I recall quoting a Rowling interview in which she mentioned the possible perpetrator is incapable of love and it will be clear in upcoming books.

None of you should have typed in what happens! I thought we were going to start a spoiler thread if we had something to say that would reveal a special part?!? There may have been a lot of people who didn't want to click on the link, but you all just told them what's in there...

lets also keep in mind Harry over reacts greatly constantly. He always thinks the worst has happened....not to mention the "..." could simply be andtransitioning thought...like "Snaped killed ... (person X), Dumbledore ... (went after person y)

maybe a stretch on the 2d one...but not totally implausible.

think JK will do anything on her website with the door of mysteries tonight?

....and surely you did see the enormous thing saying - hey this is a spoiler don't read if you don't want to know...right?

Okay, seriously.

We need a spoiler thread, because just maybe some of us wanted to actually read the book unspoiled. Thanks y'all.

Ok... I looked at the "spoiler" again.

In my year or so of printing, I've looked at quite a few different layouts. And to me, that page looks AWFUL small and there aren't very many words per line. I figured from pictures of the HBP that the book is relatively the size (width and height, not thickness) of OoTP... and there are DEFINITELY more words per line in that book. Even if it were the size of one of the paper backs, width wise, there still is enough room than the average 10 words per line on that spoiler page. Unless the margins and the type are HUGE in this book... I think someone is pulling our leg.

I'm no longer mad at this thread because the freakin page is all over LJ. But I agree with Jen - it looks like a good fake.

Is Jason Isaacs British? I didn't think he was.

I don't know if it's only for British actors, but I heard somewhere that they will never have an American actor playing any role in an HP movie. The only non-British person I can think of in any of the movies is the guy who played Seamus Finnegan, but that's because they needed a person who was blatantly Irish to play that.

Okay so I just looked up Jason Isaacs at imdb.com and he is British (learned something new). He was born in Liverpool.

Oh interesting news.

Pre-production of Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix.

Release year: 2007

Three guesses (and the first two don't count) who he plays.

Although he is in GoF and I honestly don't recall Lucious being in the book. Someone please help me on this.

Oh wait just answered my own question. He's at the end with the other Death Eaters.

That sucks that we only get to see him at the end. Jason Isaacs is one of my fave actors. He he.

You don't have to wait till the end, he's at the Quidditch World Cup in the beginning.

It was nearing midnight and the Prime Minister was sitting alone in his office, reading a long memo that was slipping through his brain without leaving the slightest trace of meaning behind.

This is supposed to be the first line from the book.

I'm waiting to hear from my friend in the U.K. to tell me that the "spoiler" I posted is actually a hoax. I'm praying it's a hoax. Please let it be a hoax.
