I just came back from my Alma Mater, where I, along with other Sorors celebrated our initiating chapter's 50TH AKAversary.
We had a wonderful time. Five of the thirteen charter members were there. They are still vivacious and vibrant and still filled with that AKA spirit. Of the thirteen, three have passed on.
It was moving to actually HEAR how our chapter was started by those who blazed the trail, as opposed to someone telling us "how it started".
It was really something I'll never forget!

That sounds so wonderful!!! My initiating chapter's 50th AKAversary is next year!! I'm looking forward to the celebration!
