Ill be totally honested here. I was always been one of those kids who loved scary movies, and watched a ton. Well, about 5 years ago, The Exorcist played at the local theatre over Thanksgiving weeked, and me and several friends went to see it. The entire movie I laughed. I know, that sounds awful, but the movie just tickled my funny bone, and I still think it is one of funniest movies I have ever seen. Maybe if I had seen it back in the day when it was released, I would be scared. However, I just find it really funny now.
Could it have been the way the movie was made? I mean it was made more than 20 years ago.

Little things make me jump, no matter how campy the movie is. But I've seen horror flicks from the early 80s that cracked me up but still scared me a bit in a few key moments.

But I remember seeing "The Omen" in high school and that movie was hilarious.
