No. I didn't say that.

In my personal experience (read: my life) I have found that people can relate better if they share a common experience. For example, if you and I both broke our legs as children, we could probably relate better to the pain of a broken limb than we could with someone who has never broken a bone.

I know what it feels like to be discriminated against, be called racist names, etc. That's one reason why I would never stand for that type of behavior towards another group (there are other reasons as well).
