I was reading the previous posts and I realized that we have alot of sisters that had no intention of ever getting into a sorority. Yall, must really have ADPi chapters that know how to recruit. VIOLETS FOR THAT!
Anyway, I knew I wanted to be in a sorority when I went to college. My brother (who is 10 years older then me) went to Birmingham Southern and he was a KA. He made it all looks so great. He even became the KA version of a TCC. He would bring girls home from school and they were in sororities and they all seemed happy and beautiful. He told me when I started to get ready to go to college that I needed to get recs for all of the sororities at my University, so I did. My highschool friends went to all different schools and we all enjoyed talking to eachother about our "rush" expereinces.
Anyway, I am an ADPi because they chose me. A girl that I grew up with was a year older then me and was an ADPi. They rushed the "he##" out of me. They all seemed to know everything about me. I found out later that my friend had really pushed all of the sisters to know me. She was the reason that I took a bid from ADPi; But, once I got that bid you couldnt keep me out of the chapter room. I love the fact that we were so different, but that we all had the knowledge of what ADPi has done and was gonna do. Actually it was meant to be cause my brother actually ended up marrying an ADPi from The U of Alabama. And my cousin became and ADPi at Auburn U. It goes on and on.
ADPi is really a home to me. I even feel more at home on the Alpha Delta Pi section of Greek Chat. (crazy I know but you know what I mean)
