Well I looked at the websites and they aren't really updated. I was just wondering if anyone knew about the competiveness of SHSU. And also more recruitment tips. That would definately help, because I don't know too much about recruitment. Also could somoene tell me what they think my chances are. GPA 3.03, but my first semester I did pretty badly with grades. I am also a junior in a couple of organizations. I held 1 leadership position in high school over 3 years with the minority organization. Member of choir 4 years in high school. Member of colorguard in high school for 3 years. Member of step team for 3 years. Member of HOPE hispanic organization 1 year in high school. Graduated top 15% out of high school. As I stated above I did poorly my first semester at SHSU and this was do to sickness in the family. I am in 3 organizations on campus and have had two part time jobs since I have been here. I am also african american. In one of the organizations on campus I will be an officer next semester. I know this is a long post, but I am really excited/nervous about recruitment. I can't wait, but I want to make sure I am ready and that I do whatever I can to increase my chances of joining a good sisterhood.
