I can even remember hating this chore as a teenager. Whenever it was my week to do the dishes I would just put it off and always get in trouble. I remember one night my mother made me get up at 3am to do the dishes because I had not done them. I literally feel asleep with my hands in the dish water. After that she just gave up. I still refuse to wash dishes. I will do everything else but dishes, thats my hubby's job!!! Paper plates are my best friend and I'm not afraid to say it.

OMG that happened to me except it was my younger sister who was supposed to have washed them earlier in the day. I was so tired putting those dishes up.
