AIM Instant Messenger

I did a search for AIM Messenger (am I spelling that wrong? It doesnt look right?) and found nothing.


Today my DSL was acting up so I signed off AIM. When I did this my buddy lists and everything were fine. I restarted my computer and restarted my DSL modem. When I signed back on to AIM, every screen name was deleted from my buddy list. The group names were still there, and the other 2 screen names I have linked are still there.

So I tried adding names back to it and got buddy lists from my friends and stuff, but then it would say some kind of error that some additions to my buddy list didn't save.... and then the names would be gone. So I created a new screen name thinking just to start fresh. It added some names, but now I'm still getting that error message even if I just try to move someone's name from one group to another.... then it deletes that name.

Anyone else having problems? There's nothing in their FAQ and I reported it but the thing said that even tho I report it I won't get a response back.

I usually google whatever my computer glitch is and usually can find several items where people in forums are helping people with the same problem. For example, I googled "buddy list deleted, get error message," and several things came up. You might try googling some of what your error message says. Good luck.
