There'd been a lot of talk lately about this...it really was a ridiculous law to still have on the books.
Now if they'll just do something about the 2 am bar closings...
ETA: It's funny you mention that song, the MBTA is introducing "Charlie cards," which they hope will eliminate the need for tokens to use the train.
