kkw27012, is your first name Kathy? As in the ZTA that moved from Texas to go to grad school and started Theta Omega? If you are who I think you are, I'm so excited to see you posting here.
I am a Theta Omega from Cal Poly, Pomona! I pledged in 1996 and am a very proud alumna. They are doing awesome. They actually just won Greek Week and have been at total every quarter for the past 4-5 years.
It's exciting that the chapter will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
In regard to your question, I think that a lot of it is the reasons that ZTAngel listed. Unfortunatly, we are no longer at the big California schools. Many people around here don't know about ZTA unless they attend one of the 3 schools that we're at. I don't think its from lack of alumnae support. We have 8 alumnae chapters in Southern California alone. I wish we could add more chapters out here as well.
