Unless things have changed... The membership committee reviews the existing profile of the chapter. From assessments they see what their strength and weaknesses are. Having only face men/women will harm a chapter as much as all sports oriented people or such. If you have the whole package, yes, your chances are better than someone who has 1 or 2 qualities of the SEVERAL they are looking for. Some years, if they see their GPA falling, they MAY concentrate on those PNMs that can build their chapter in that area. Nothing is set in stone and it's always changing. To reiterate what has been stated on this board numerous times, some important points are grades, leadership, community and personality and the ability to meet financial obligations. There WERE phone calls made about PNM's to people who new them in HS (reputation). If it comes in a nice, polished package (I didn't say beautiful) all the better.
