My boyfriend teaches at our old high school and he seriously gets the dumbest comments from his students, as well as their supposedly smart parents! Some of the students said they would quit the I.B. program unless they were allowed to take math with him, but there's physically not enough room in his day to teach every single kid...he explained to them that in addition to being the math club sponsor and taking 9 hours of online courses, he teaches 6 sometimes 7 classes back to back...one parent then asked if he could teach 8...my boyfriend was like, yea if you wanted me to BREAK THE LAW!
These are the same types of parents that get upset when their child gets detention because they kept on talking after continuously being warned to keep quiet...
Were we really this bad back in the day???
