Pamela Anderson vs. J.Lo & P.Diddy
from MSN.com
Pam Anderson is a woman of many talents. Not only can she double as a flotation device in the event of a water landing, but she's a loyal friend to furry creatures great and small.
"People who wear fur smell like a wet dog and they look fat and gross," the hypermammiferous bombshell writes in Jane magazine. "They look really immature and unenlightened."
Pam isn't afraid to call out these supposedly zaftig-looking stinky pelt wearers by name, singling out some high-profile exes who have both faced criticism for designing fashion lines filled with hirsute pieces.
"Every season the furriers put propaganda everywhere that fur is taking off again and they give free coats to idiots like Jennifer Lopez and Puff Daddy," rails the "Stacked" star. "It makes me nauseous."
It's not exactly giving People for the Ethical Treatment for Animals the warm and fuzzies, either. The critter-loving group is ramping up their campaign against Lopez by targeting her make-or-break movie, "Monster-in-Law."
"J. Lo's next movie may well be a remake of 'Escape from L.A.' PETA has her in our sights," vice-president Dan Mathews tells the New York Post. "On April 29, we'll be waiting for her outside Jay Leno's 'Tonight' show studios at 4 p.m. with a 30-foot inflatable beaver with a banner saying 'Fur -- Leave It to Beaver.'"
But PETA has far more up its hemp-spun sleeve than a blow-up doll and a clever pun on a classic TV show.
"Later that same day, we'll have a massive protest at the L.A. premiere of 'Monster-in-Law' with posters showing Lopez in pelts and the logo of the movie adapted to read 'Monster-in-Fur,'" warns Mathews.
PETA also has several other protests planned against Mrs. Marc Anthony, who reportedly put the kibosh on an anti-fur ad featuring her picture that the group planned to run in a recent issue of Billboard.
"We hope [Jennifer] will have a change of heart about promoting fur," Mathews tells the paper, "but even if she doesn't, she's providing us with endless opportunities to show what happens when a star so thoughtlessly pushes such a violent industry."

Good for Pam. At least she speaks her mind.

I hate how PETA tries to bully people into going along with their way of thinking. If J Lo wants to wear fur or put it in her clothing line, that's her perogative.

PETA morons remind me how lucky I am to live in a country where we're FORTUNATE to get our hands on a t-bone.

Pam Anderson is really into charity. I don't mind PETA - it's always such a heated issue - fur, etc. But if she's passionate about it, okay - I'm glad she's speaking up. I also read somewhere that she's donated an autographed script of her new tv show to a charity auction on ebay for the Nat'l Center for Missing and Exploited Children. I think that's a really good cause too. She really gives off the impression (to me) that she's fake and phony and vain etc but she is really a good person apparently! I'm actually going to check out that ebay auction - I bet her script goes for a lot. Does anyone know anything about her new show? She hasn't been on tv much since Baywatch so this should be interesting!

I saw part of it last night. It smells like cancellation on rye.

bwwwahaha! That's hilarious...cancellation on rye. Anyway regardless - I have a few male friends who'd love to have a copy of anything signed by her, and I"m such proponent of charitable causes - I might just bid on this script! lol!
