junior pledge!!

Hey guys I know this has been asked a bit but I'm just curious for some opinions!! I'm currently a frosh at my local community college. My best friend pledged XYZ this year, and is having an awesome time. I also visited her and just loved the sorority (shes at a CSU) I'm moving in with her and a few friends from her school next year, some of which are members of XYZ, others members of ABC, etc. Anyways, my point is do you think it will be weird for me to rush as a junior when i transfer in? i wanted to transfer after a year and a half instead of two, but she urged me to wait for fall rush when its most fun with big/lils, presents, etc. Just wondering what you think it will be like for me, especially if i know a lot of the girls by the time i rush....like if i have a better chance? i'm really worried reading all of this about it being hard to rush as junior. thanks!!! sorry if this sounds pointless lol
