Golden Globes
So the Golden Globes nominations were announced yesterday. I have to say that I'm a little (and not, I'll explain) that United 93 and World Trade Center weren't nominated.
Here's why I'm surprised:
1) I'm not a critic, but I thought both movies were very good, gut wrenching.
2) I thought the acting was incredible
3) The scripts were pretty good
Why I'm not surpised:
1) Even though it has been 5 years, I don't think Hollywood or the American public in general, were quite ready for these movies. But on the other hand, if people aren't ready in 5 years, they might not never be ready.
(I'm not saying that is wrong, some people will never want to watch movies about that day and it's totally their choice).
Thoughts about this and the nominations in general?
