Quick Question about rush.

Hey everyone!

I got a quick question: I hear that formal recruitment in SEC schools are extremely competitive, I was wondering that is the case? Also, is rush that competitive in the West or does it depend on the size of the school?

I know that SEC schools have a huge Greek presence. I know where I go to school, Loyola Marymount University, it's about 1 in 4 women who are in sororities but it's rising. I remember in last years recruitment about 85% of PNMs received a bid so I am assuming my school is not really competitve, right? I'm totally new to this so every little bit of information helps.
