BGLO Members Eastern Stars - how do you feel about them seeking membership?

I am currently pursuing membership into the Order of the Eastern Star and wanted to know how it is looked upon by members of BGLO's. The reason I ask is that I am also seeking membership into a sorority. Would it be taken as a sign of understanding sisterhood and practicing service. Or is it looked at a a possible conflict of time or interests.
